چکیده

Background & Objective: The objective of this study was to determine the association between maternal serum concentration PAPP-A and free B-HCG at 11-13(+6) weeks uterine artery pulsatility index (PI) 30-34 with prediction preeclampsia.Materials Methods: This cohort performed on 882 women singleton pregnancies from March 2018 November 2020 university hospital (referred center) in Ahvaz/Khuzestan. Maternal PI were measured compared without PE. MOM PAPP-A<0.4, MOM-free B-HCG>3, >1 (>95%) considered abnormal. Then effect each indicators preeclampsia determined by overlaying layers performing logical calculations ARC GIS software. distribution PE different cities Khuzestan province investigated. Results: mean significantly lower (1.05 vs. 1.21 P < /i>=0.03), upper (0.93 0.88 /i><0.01) preeclamptic No significant differences observed (1.33 1.2 /i>=0.667). highest percentage two regions Ahvaz (80%), but concerning referred Andimeshk (75%). Conclusion: A low level increased promoted chance developing prevalence center province, most preferred due Andimeshk.

Prediction of pregnancy complications by first-trimester maternal serum PAPP-A and free beta-hCG and with second-trimester uterine artery Doppler.

BACKGROUND Previous studies have shown an association between low first trimester maternal serum free beta-hCG and PAPP-A and subsequent development of pregnancy complications. Similarly, uterine artery Doppler in the late second trimester has shown that high impedance to flow is associated with increased risk for preeclampsia and fetal growth restriction. The objective of this study is to dete...

Comparing Perinatal Outcome in Twin and Singleton Pregnancies Regarding Doppler Evaluation of Uterine Artery Indices in the Second Trimester

Background: Prediction of adverse perinatal and postnatal outcomes could be possible by using ultrasound Doppler evaluation, however there are some controversies regarding this issue in the literature. The goal of present study was to evaluate predictive value of Doppler indices in single and twin pregnancies during second trimester. Materials and Methods: This prospective study was conducted i...

Second-trimester uterine artery Doppler in the prediction of stillbirths.

OBJECTIVE To examine the role of second-trimester uterine artery Doppler in the prediction of stillbirths. METHODS Uterine artery pulsatility index (PI) was measured at 20-24 weeks' gestation in 65,819 singleton pregnancies. The PI was converted to multiples of median (MoM) and compared in live births and stillbirths. Regression analysis was used to determine the significance of association b...

The Role of Uterine Artery Doppler Ultrasound in the Second Trimester in Predicting Preeclampsia

Background Preeclampsia is a specific pregnancy syndrome. Early diagnosis and proper administration of preeclampsia can lead to improved maternal and neonatal outcome. We aimed to investigate the uterine artery Doppler ultrasound in predicting the preeclampsia in women with a high-risk pregnancy. Materials and Methods This analytic study was conducted on 160 primigravida women with gestational...

Trimester uterine artery Doppler Velocimetry in prediction of preeclampsia

BACKGROUND: To study the utility of uterine artery Doppler flow velocimetry in 2nd trimester in prediction of preeclampsia in high risk and low risk women. MATERIALS AND METHODS: 200 women carrying <16weeks of pregnancy with singleton fetus and without any fetal anomaly were recruited and were divided in high-risk and low-risk group. Doppler velocimetry of uterine artery was done at 24-26 weeks...
